My experience using the Transformer Round Dining Table
Setting up:
The table, bench, and chairs were carefully packaged for shipment, arriving undamaged and impressively quickly. Although the site lists a potential waiting period of up to three months for certain products, my order was delivered within approximately one month.
The items were delivered across multiple packages and needed assembly. Fortunately, the shipping service helped me carry all the pieces directly into my dining area, allowing me to start unpacking right away. I handled most tasks independently, but struggled when trying to flip over the table since it’s quite heavy at nearly 100 pounds—so you might want an extra person around for this part. Apart from that challenge, I successfully assembled both the chair and the table without any complications; however, the bench came pre-assembled.
Expanding and collapsing:
This turned out to be simpler than anticipated, allowing me to easily extend and retract both the table and bench single-handedly by just raising the table slightly and walking backward. It’s not complicated, yet it could pose challenges without an additional pair of hands; hence, I found myself quite pleased with how straightforward it was. The supplementary seat sections fit neatly inside the frame, whereas spare tabletop extensions must be kept separately. The most challenging aspect involves fetching these extra table panels from my closet and transporting them to the dining area. Ideally, future versions would feature built-in compartments specifically designed for storing all the add-on components.
The leaves slide in effortlessly, and the table has clips at its base to secure items whether it’s extended or folded, ensuring no unsightly gaps or shifts occur.

This table is crafted from premium quality solid wood and laminated timber. It features a protective matte lacquer coating which enhances its resistance to heat and moisture. Despite having endured numerous spills, soaking incidents, and various art projects courtesy of my energetic three-year-old child, it remains intact.
As stated before, expanding and collapsing the table is incredibly simple—I really appreciate being able to manage this task independently without needing assistance from my partner or a friend.
The entire collection in every form is simply stunning—from the textured Scandinavian Oak look to the intricately grooved legs of the table and bench. The chairs boast a timeless yet contemporary design, providing comfort during extended use (as I often work at this table). This set beautifully complements my favorite elements in the room.

I’m really impressed with this setup and have received a lot of compliments from guests on its look and feel; however, my one gripe is not having internal storage for the three additional leaves. My closest closet is a bit of a walk, and the leaves take up considerable space (it’s a small closet), so I hope the next iteration of the table includes internal storage for the spare pieces when not in use.
