The MiG-17 airbase located in Russia’s Tver Oblast was targeted by drone attacks during the night of May 25, according to reports from the Russian independent news outlet Astra.
Locals reported that drones were targeting the air base and that explosions occurred in the area.
Tver Oblast
Governor Igor Rudenya stated that air defense forces successfully intercepted unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in the region.
Rudenya stated that five unmanned aerial vehicles were brought down; however, he reported no injuries or damages. He made no reference to the Migalovo airfield. Later that evening, he mentioned that an additional three had been taken out.
