A further 10 countries have gone through to
the Eurovision 2025 Grand Finale,

Approximately 1,300 Swiss law enforcement personnel will be deployed in Basel during the event’s duration. Additional support will come from the Swiss Armed Forces, federal police units, as well as officers from neighboring nations Germany and France. These reinforcements will join the local force for the two semi-final matches scheduled for Tuesday and Thursday, along with the Grand Final on Saturday.

Adrian Plachesi, who leads communication for the Basel police, informed the Press Association that no permits have been issued for protests. However, law enforcement will be deployed in anticipation of anticipated pro-Palestinian demonstrations.

He mentioned that officers “could be required to step in” if protests impede “public safety”.

The grand finale of Eurovision 2025 is scheduled for Saturday, May 17th and will air on BBC One starting at 8 pm.
