Formula 1 has entered into a new 10-year contract extension with the organizers of the Miami Grand Prix, ensuring the event will remain part of their schedule through at least 2041.

The updated agreement was unveiled on Friday prior to this weekend’s Formula 1 events, led by Stefano Domenicali, the CEO of F1, along with Tom Garfinkel, who serves as both the managing partner for the race and the CEO of the Miami Dolphins and the Hard Rock Stadium—the location where the Miami Autodrome circuits wind through.

In 2022, Miami became the second U.S. race on the Formula 1 calendar following the United States Grand Prix in Austin. Since then, they have been joined by the F1-managed Las Vegas Grand Prix.

The latest agreement will extend Miami’s event duration into the longest-running race schedule on the racing calendar, highlighting its growing importance as Formula 1 owners Liberty Media seek to expand their presence in the American market.
