(newsinpo.site) – The Argentina-based investment firm Grupo Werthein has introduced IllumIA, a human-centric generative AI platform, after committing an initial funding of $40 million, as stated by the company on Wednesday.

This investment marks progress in AI tech, specifically in improving individualized engagements between companies and their clients.
The company plans to leverage both artificial intelligence technologies and knowledge from current businesses to deliver services aimed at enhancing sales, customer service, and various other engagements.

BY THE NUMBERS
A recent newsinpo.sitestudy found that 56% of Latin American respondents are excited about the technology, though 50% of them have privacy and confidentiality concerns.
WHAT’S NEXT
Illumia has offered services to companies controlled by Worthein in Latin America as well as some third-party clients, according to Figueiredo. He anticipates that Illumia will grow beyond its current presence in the area.
Grupo Werthein is a Latin American holdings company with a portfolio that spans technology, media, entertainment, and other industries. The portfolio includes DirectTV Latin America and Sky Brazil.
