For SRH to secure a spot in the playoffs, they must win their upcoming games by significant margins. Furthermore, only up to three teams can end up with more than 14 points; otherwise, SRH’s qualification will depend on their net run rate.

The squad’s path through IPL 2025 has been uneven. They began with a triumph over the Rajasthan Royals but suffered setbacks against the Lucknow Super Giants, Delhi Capitals, and Kolkata Knight Riders. Their next success was a victory versus the Punjab Kings, which was then followed by defeats at the hands of the Mumbai Indians on two occasions.

SRH succeeded in beating Chennai Super Kings in Chennai, but they recently lost to Gujarat Titans on Friday. In this tournament, their total record is now three victories and seven defeats.

Their next scheduled matches are as follows: they will host the Delhi Capitals in Hyderabad on May 5, followed by a game against the Kolkata Knight Riders at the same location on May 10.

In prior matchups with these squads, SRH fell short against Delhi Capitals by 7 wickets and endured an 80-run loss to Kolkata Knight Riders during games played away from home.

SRH’s season will end with two road games — first against Royal Challengers Bangalore at M Chinnaswamy Stadium on May 13, followed by a match against Lucknow Super Giants at Ekana Stadium on May 18.
