During a nighttime attack on Kyiv, a mobile fire team from the capital’s police shot down one of the Russian drones. The unmanned aerial vehicle was destroyed with a precise shot at one of the city’s locations, informs the Main Directorate of the National Police in Kyiv.
“The objective has been achieved,” stated the Kyiv police mobile fire unit. According to law enforcement authorities, they neutralized one of the hostile drones that struck the city the previous evening.

The police added, ‘We keep watch over the heavens,'”.
Russian attack on Kyiv
On the night of May 23, Ukrainian military personnel identified approaching enemy strike drones heading towards the city.
At first, Russian Shaheds were observed above the Kyiv area. Following this, explosions echoed throughout the city and surrounding regions as the air defense forces went into action.
On the evening of May 24, Russia initiated one of its biggest assaults on Kyiv. The adversary employed both ballistic missiles and suicide drones in this coordinated attack.
The Ukrainian Air Force reports that over Ukraine, 14 ballistic missiles of the Iskander-M/KN-23 variety and approximately 250 attack drones were deployed. The air defense units managed to intercept six missiles and bring down 245 drones.
