Lala Kent is navigating a worrying health diagnosis
following a discussion with her physician regarding a mark on her eye.
Kent, 34,
said she initially noticed a pink growth on her eye. She’s kept fans in the loop as she’s visited doctors, providing the latest update on Wednesday via Instagram.
“She said that it is pre-
cancer
, and she said, ‘I want to start you on chemotherapy drops,’” Kent shared with her followers. “Now I know that sounds terrifying, I cried, obviously, because when you hear that word.”

indicated that the therapy regimen would last for three months. The patient will apply the chemotherapy eye drops for one week each month and have three weeks off during each cycle.
“At that point in time, God willing, it kills all of the cancerous cells,” Kent continued. “If it doesn’t, we’ll cross that bridge when we get to it. And talk about surgery. So there’s the update.”
Kent became worried upon spotting an unusual mark close to her pupil, so she shared it with her followers and sought their input.
“I may have demonstrated this to all of you numerous times before, but I’ve been obsessed with it,” Kent told her fans on Tuesday, according to
US Weekly
“It all began around one and a half to two months ago when I noticed some slight discoloration. I thought, ‘That’s really strange; what could it be?’ ” Kent also mentioned that approximately a week and a half ago, the area started resembling a blister.
Following a consultation with a doctor who requested a biopsy, Kent mentioned that her anxiety levels were rising.
“When my friends face a health issue, I often tell them, ‘Everything will be okay. We’ll manage. Let’s deal with each bridge as we encounter it,’ ” she explained. But when she found herself in such a scenario, all she could do was worry and imagine every dreadful outcome. All the guidance she had offered others vanished into thin air,” she shared.
Supporters have been following Kent’s progression since 2015 when she became part of the team.
