This weekend, all eyes will be on the artistic community in Guelph, Ontario.
The River Run Centre for the Arts will host speakers, musicians, performers, along with various other presenters, during the Arts Everywhere Festival.
Marva Bailey-Wisdom, who serves as co-director of the festival, mentioned that the event will have something appealing to every attendee.
“The art form, with such vastness, is incredibly captivating. It provides everyone an equal opportunity to explore mutual comprehension via dialogues and narratives,” Bailey-Wisdom stated.
The global festival spans three days and will include an array of talks, presentations from experts, and creative shows aimed at providing attendees with opportunities to engage in discussions and acquire new insights into topics presently influencing our world.
Bailey-Wisdom stated that incorporating the arts positively is an essential part of the festival.
She mentioned that numerous presenters and/or guests who join us from various parts of the globe share not only their personal experiences but also their artistic skills covering a wide range of art forms.
Lu Kala, who has been nominated for a Juno Award, will perform at the festival.

Kala is set to play at the River Run Centre on Friday night.
The musician from Toronto stated that the arts, especially music, play a vital role in fostering change as they provide individuals with an outlet during unpredictable periods.
“Music seems to serve as an escape and outlet for many individuals, and it would be unfortunate if this were taken away from them since I’m not sure where else they could express all their frustrations and emotions,” Kala stated.
She mentioned that many individuals feel bewildered in modern society, and her music assists them in discovering their identity and gaining confidence.
Kala goes on stage at 7 p.m.
The ArtsEverywhere Festival concludes this Sunday.
