Rodriguez smashed a three-run home run in
Wednesday’s 6-5 victory against the White Sox
And participated in batting practice at the stadium on Thursday prior to the announcement of the lineup adjustment roughly 30 minutes before the start of the game.

It started tightening up on him during his batting practice today, so we want to take a cautious approach,” Wilson explained. “Since it’s something that could change daily, we’ll evaluate it again tomorrow when we arrive.

The American League Rookie of the Year from 2022 is batting at an average of .231, having hit nine home runs and driven in 28 RBIs.

Leody Taveras moved from right field to center field after the scratch and Miles Mastrobuoni was inserted into the lineup to play right field and bat eighth.
