EXPLORE FURTHER: As an American exploring the UK, I tasted Nando’s for the first time and this is why it outshines a typical U.S. fast-food joint.
For the very first time, Nando’s is offering customers an opportunity to design their own unique sauce flavor.
The Peri-Peri restaurant chain, famous in the UK for its sauces, is giving customers an opportunity to create their very own flavor.
For those struggling to come up with something entirely original, Nando’s is giving everyone the chance to revive an older, retired sauce like Mango & Lime or Vusa through their voting process.
From May 13 through June 17, customers have the option to submit their recipe suggestion or cast a vote for a classic sauce. They can do this by visiting the website or by scanning the QR code located on the in-store menu.
Nando’s will subsequently tally the votes and unveil the winner via the Peri-ometer at all UK and Ireland locations throughout the summer season.
Meanwhile, Nando’s, originating from
South Africa
is unveiling multiple new products starting May 13.
Included among the options is The Big Cheese, featuring a grilled halloumi patty topped with red pepper and pineapple salsa, slices of avocado, and Churrasco Perinaise.
Moreover, this isn’t the sole piece of great news for halloumi enthusiasts since the eatery will shortly introduce Halloumi sticks paired with a novel dipping sauce called Peri-Honey.
In addition, the menu will feature new items such as Summer Grains and Charred Corn, served with a rich, creamy dressing and garnished with spring onions.
It comes after Nando’s
unveiled one of its hidden menu items – and decided to make it a lasting addition for everyone to enjoy.

The Peri-Peri chicken restaurant revealed a novel method for UK enthusiasts to enjoy its renowned wings, an item that had previously been kept under wraps.
The latest offering, Extra Saucy Wings, is cooked with Peri-Flamer, a sauce that was previously only available to those who knew to ask for it.
Peri-Flamer offers sweet, smoky, and spicy flavours, and according to Nando’s, the sauce has built up a cult-following in recent years, despite not being listed on the menu.
The restaurant franchise originating from South Africa has now added Extra Saucy Wings to their menu, enabling customers to savor the new Peri-Flamer option.
Patrons have the option to place an order for three, five, or ten flame-broiled chicken wings smothered in the latest sauce flavor and completed with a touch of creamy yogurt dressing.
Customers can also get Free Extra Saucy Wings through their Nando’s Rewards program.
Saucy Wings Extra was introduced across all UK and Ireland outlets earlier this year, and can be enjoyed dine-in, takeout, or through delivery services.
It comes after Nando’s
met the fervent wishes of their dedicated followers with the comeback of a cherished condiment.

Visiting the Peri-Peri chicken restaurant isn’t truly complete without plenty of its renowned sauce.
However, over the last five years, fans of Nando’s have grumbled that their beloved creamy choice is not offered.
However, the chain
disclosed that starting February 4th, outlets in the UK and Ireland reintroduced the Creamy Salad Dressing.
The robust and garlic-packed sauce is considered an excellent complement to most dishes on the menu, such as the Peri-Salted fries and spicy rice.
The alteration follows criticism directed at Nando’s after they took the sauce out of their restaurants in 2021, angering loyal customers.
objecting to the decision – and even starting a Change.org campaign to reinstate it

Nando’s is famous for its Peri-Peri chicken and a variety of sauces with different heat intensities, including options like Lemon & Herb, Medium, Hot, and Extra Hot, along with some additional choices.
Previously, the restaurant reintroduced guest favorites such as Mango & Lime seasoning for a short period; however, the reinstatement of Creamy Salad Dressing is now a permanent addition.
It comes after
Bukayo Saka showcased his intensity and style from soccer in the kitchen.
– by introducing his personal Nando’s sauce.
Last March, the Arsenal player collaborated with the restaurant franchise to create the ‘Peri-Peri Saka Sauce,’ featuring his favorite flavors.
The individual chose a smoky BBQ and tomato flavor combination with the restaurant’s Peri-Peri sauce.
Easy to enjoy yet bold with moderate spiciness, this dish is abundant in garlic and infused with smoked paprika.
Saka stated: “The sauce combines sweetness, spiciness, and smokiness.”
I’m thrilled about this and am eagerly looking forward to sharing it with everyone. Since I was young, I’ve frequented Nando’s, so having my own Peri-Peri sauce available at all restaurants across the nation is incredible!
‘Family means everything to me, which is why I made certain they would approve as well. The moment my father expressed his liking for it, I realized this was the perfect choice.’
It could be found in all restaurants across the UK and Ireland for a short duration.
A short movie created by Nando’s featured the 23-year-old assisting in the kitchen where chefs crafted his ideal sauce.
The winger teamed up with an Arsenal chef to create something special, infusing the vibrant atmosphere at the Emirates into their culinary creations.
The design of the bottle itself was also given special consideration. Reuben Dangoor, known for his work on the art adorning the Emirates Stadium, transformed Saka’s concept into a vivid and striking bottle.
