A wildlife photographer has snapped an amusing and striking scene of one bird relieving itself onto another!
Earlier this month, Tuan Vo captured an image of a pelican expressing its emotions when it was being chased by a peregrine falcon.
At Torrey Pines State Beach in La Jolla, California, Tuan stated: “When it’s the breeding season, the peregrine falcons become extremely protective of their offspring.”
Any bird that flies too near to the nest is asking for trouble from the female peregrine falcon.
In this image, the female peregrine falcon was chasing the pelican.
It was so frightened, it had an accident while attempting to escape.
I was fortunate enough to snap this amusing scene as it appears the pelican is seemingly depositing something directly onto the falcon’s face!
