Windsor Police Charge Three in Failed Murder Attempt

Three people, including two youths, have been charged with attempted murder following a stabbing Wednesday.


The Windsor police responded to an incident shortly after 11:30 p.m. in the 800 block of Giles Boulevard East, where they discovered a 37-year-old man suffering from several stab wounds to his upper torso.


The individual was transported to the medical facility with severe yet not fatal wounds.


The police indicated that the stabbing allegedly happened after an argument took place at a house nearby.


The individual proceeded to Giles Boulevard East and then dialed 911 seeking assistance.


Police officers found and apprehended three individuals on a nearby street.


A 34-year-old female along with two juveniles, one at age 16 and another at 17, face charges of attempted murder.


The identities of all three suspects have been kept confidential to safeguard the anonymity of the two young individuals involved, as mandated by the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
